B2B Platforms
Dealer portals, tiered pricing and approval chains that mirror the real hierarchy.
Tell us what the work has to do and we will scope it — including whether this is the discipline you actually need.
Request a quoteA B2B platform is a permissions problem wearing a catalogue as a disguise.
Every buyer must see their own negotiated price and nobody else’s. A branch manager can order up to a limit; above it, someone approves. The finance team needs a statement that agrees with the ERP. None of this is visible in a screenshot, and all of it is where the work is.
The pricing engine
We build pricing as an explicit, testable layer: contract rates, volume bands, promotional overrides and currency, resolved in a defined order and logged so that when a customer questions a line item you can show exactly how the number was reached.
Approvals that match reality
Org charts on paper rarely match how orders actually get approved. We map the real chain — including the person everyone informally checks with — and build limits and delegation that reflect it, so the workflow does not get routed around within a month.
Integration, honestly
Most ERPs in this market were not built to be integrated with. Where a usable API exists, we use it. Where it does not, we build a scheduled reconciliation with a visible conflict report, and we are direct with you about the latency rather than selling a real-time sync that is not one.
Questions
Price. In B2C, a product has one price. In B2B, it has a price per customer, per volume band, per contract, and sometimes per branch — and a buyer must never see another buyer's terms. That single requirement reshapes the whole data model.
Usually. We have integrated with SAP, Accurate and a number of in-house systems. Where a modern API exists we use it; where it does not we build a scheduled reconciliation layer with a conflict report rather than pretending the sync is real-time.
They do when the portal is faster than emailing a sales rep. That means saved orders, reordering from history, live stock and a visible credit balance. If it is slower than an email, they will send the email.
